Nighthawks

Many of you are probably familiar with the painting below.  It is entitled "Nighthawks" by Edward Hopper.  It was created in 1942 and since it's creation has been housed in the Art Institute of Chicago.

I have always found this painting to be calming.  I like to picture myself in the painting having cherry pie and coffee after a long day.  What does this painting say to you?
