1960's Knitted Stretch Slippers

My husband and I love going to estate sales and a while back I picked up this great slipper pattern for five cents.  It was printed by Coats and Clark in 1962.

I finally took the time to make them over the holidays.  The pattern called for "Red Heart" Worsted  yarn, so I used the "Red Heart" Super Saver Yarn in the color Jade.

Here is how they turned out!

This is a wonderful pattern for beginners and could still be a fun quick project for advanced knitters.
